Hey friends I know you must be missing Weeds as a lot of time has passed away since the finale of the fifth season was aired on August 31, 2009. Though a 13 episode season six has been announced but no news about the date of premiere has been declared. It is expected to hit our TV screens in 2010. I’m really missing Nancy Botwin, the character portrayed by Marie-Louise Parker. Her portrayal of the Marijuana selling widowed mother has really placed the character in the list of most memorable moms on television screen.

This character of Weeds is extremely different for her real life. In real life too the heartthrob is a mom. She is a doting mom to her two children, William (5) and Caroline (2). At 45 the actress is still new to motherhood, though she always knew that she wanted kids. She admits that she wasn’t cut to be a mom in young age as in her 20’s she was far from being a mom or even having her own mail box. She has a small family but sounds very normal when she says, “It’s not perfect. I wish it were more perfect. I always want everyone to have a good time.”

The Weeds actress herself didn’t have a very good childhood days. She regrets that she didn’t have fun as a child. But she calls her parents amazing. Taking a lesson from her own life she always takes care that her children have fun by spending a lot of quality time with them. She’s now a single mom after she split from William’s dad, Billy Crudup. We wish the actress a happy motherhood. It would be interesting to see what more has her role to offer in the next season.

Mary Louise Parker is fast becoming the second name for Weeds TV Show. You simply can not speak about Weeds without speaking about Parker. And she would never let go of any chance to speak about the show or her role in it. In a recent interview, she opened up and spoke quite candidly about her nude scene in the season 4 finale and the controversy that followed her interview with More Magazine.

In response to the reports that gave the impression that she regretted doing that nude scene parker said, “They made it sound like I was like, ‘They made me take my clothes off and chained me to the bathtub.”

In the scene under scanner, Nancy Botwin was shown sitting in the tub and reflecting on many obstacles she was facing at that point of time. The long takes did not shy away from Botwin’s nakedness- physical as well as emotional.

The excerpts of More article, ironically entitled “I Like to Reveal Myself,” appeared on the net quoting the actress saying that she didn’t think she needed to be naked, and that she had fought with the director about it, which made her bitter.

Parker, who repeatedly sang the praises of the show’s creative team said, “It made it seem like we were fighting, and nobody’s fighting,”

Instead, she said, “I was talking about that scene as an example of something I didn’t love as much when I saw it because they kept cutting back and I was naked - but they liked the position of it.”

But Parker wanted to be clear that it wasn’t the nudity that had bothered her.

We have absolutely no doubts about that babe and we have not yet forgotten your Esquire photo shoot. Neither are we complaining about it. For that matter, we would not mind such creative scenes in future.

Me……. Well, after watching the latest episode entitled ‘Super Lucky Happy’ aired on June 29, 2009, I searched for the next episodes in the row. Luckily, I found the details about the upcoming episodes of series so I am here to share it with you.

So, buddies, we will catch the next episode of the Weeds TV show on July 6, 2009. The episode would be entitled ‘Van Nuys’. Here, we would see that Nancy would visit Dr. Audra Kitson, her obstetrician, in order to discuss about the abortion. On the other hand, Shane would go to Mr. Sandusky to get his pot back. With the intention to get access to the bank account, Andy would take Margaret on a date. We will also see Silas and Doug visiting ‘The Wizard’, a pot agent.

The next episode in the row would be entitled ‘A Modest Proposal’ and it would be aired on July 13, 2009.  Storyline would take a step as long as six months in time. Here, Nancy would discover that there’s another lady in Esteban’s life. Andy would be seen dealing with her issues. A career opportunity would knock at Celia’s door. Silas and Doug’s medical marijuana dispensary would bloom.

‘Where The Sidewalk Ends’ is the next episode in the row which is scheduled to be aired on July 20, 2009. This is the episode in which Nancy would come to know about the identity of the lady in Esteban’s life. Celia would realize that earning money is not the game of kids. Hey people! Now that Weeds has started with its fifth season, I am sure you must be pondering over how the story will move ahead in this season. I am a huge fan of ‘Weeds’, hey, don’t get me wrong… I am clearly talking about the Weeds TV show. Series has recently finished airing fourth season and I liked all episodes aired during the fourth season. It was premiered on June 16, 08 and the season opener was entitled ‘Mother Thinks the Birds are After Her’. In this episode we saw- Nancy finds it hard to avoid her past and the problems of her past follow her on her journey.

Next episode was entitled ‘Lady’s a Charm’ and was aired on June 23, 2008. Here we saw that Nancy has been settled and she tries to start up a new business. On the other hand, Celia and Andy both face war of words. Next episode was named ‘The whole Blah Damn Thing’. In this episode, we met Nancy as she made her first successful smuggling run across the border with both drugs and human cargo. Meanwhile, Captain Till came to a deal with Celia so that she could get out of the prison. Back in Ren Mar, Andy tries to talk to Frank about Bubbie.

In ‘The Three Coolers’, we saw that Bubbie has dead and the whole Botwin family sits shiva for a week. Next, we saw that Nancy was sent on a mission and she took Andy along with her. Troubled Lenny decides to sell the house. Meanwhile, Celia continuously flirted with Captain Till and Doug found refuge with the Botwins. Then, came ‘No Man is Pudding’. Here we saw that Guillermo gave a new job to Nancy. Andy found himself with a pack of immigrants and Nancy came to know new things at her job.

Next episode was entitled ‘Excellent Treasure’. Nancy got into trouble and Silas developed feelings for a new crush. In ‘Yes I Can’, Nancy faced more troubles at work; Celia found low-priced pharmaceuticals; Silas got more involved in his relationship with Lisa. In ‘I Am the Table’ we saw that Nancy and Esteban’s spontaneous date ends in near violence. Meanwhile, Andy and Doug smuggled their very first customer across the border.

‘Weeds‘, which is currently in its fourth season, has been recently renewed with two more seasons, fifth and sixth, by the Showtime. These seasons will be aired in 2009 and 2010 respectively. The Showtime has ordered two more seasons because of the marvelous ratings that the fourth season has got during the first five episodes. And, let’s not to forget the Emmy Nominations.

Both fifth and the sixth season will have thirteen episodes each, just like the fourth one. The next two seasons of the series will follow the misadventures of suburban pot- in which mom Nancy Botwin will have to deal with her eccentric associates and family members. In the next two seasons, Nancy’s character will be dealt with lot of depth. Not only a lot of information about her family background will be given but there will be love all around her. There are rumors about Andy- Nancy romance all around. What exactly will happen in the series? For that we have wait and I know that it will be a long wait.

Anyways, this is definitely very good news for the series lovers. Now, the fans will not have to bother themselves with, whether the series will be back with more or not. They can very well enjoy the series as they are assured that their favorite comedy series will entertain them for two more years.

Season 4 finale ‘If You Work for a Living, then Why Do You Kill Yourself Working?’, of ‘Weeds’ was aired on September 15, 2008. In this episode, we see that DEA calls Nancy for questioning and she’s supposed to explain everything to Esteban as well. The most sizzling moment was when she tells Esteban that she’s pregnant with his child. Finally, season is over, leaving a major cliffhanger for us.

Well, the first question which hits my mind is - is she really pregnant and if so, who the dad of the child is? Is it really Esteban’s kid or it’s just a smart plan to befool us…. I’ve read on innumerous sites and have also searched a lot, but show representatives are very tight-lipped on Nancy’s pregnancy. No one is in mood to let us know, what’s behind all these things and what will happen in next season. That’s why, I dislike cliffhangers as they leave you groping, and you can’t even guess, what is gonna happen?

Series has landed three nominations at this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards Ceremony including Parker’s nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in Comedy Series. She’s the one whom the series revolves around and she’s also the one who is the face of the series. This lady has done a marvelous job on the show and is very much liked by every viewer.

Who’ll solve all these cliffhangers? Obviously, season 5 and I’m eagerly waiting for it. As per the latest news, series will be back with fifth season in the beginning of the next year. Ahhh…. A long wait is ahead to have an exciting season 5.

First some good news about Weeds, show is likely to continue for two more seasons including thirteen episodes. Wow, Weeds is getting more popular than expected and that’s why they are renewing it for the other two seasons. It means that it will now become six season long drama series.

Who could have imagined that the story of a widowed house wife and a middle class Marijuana dealer of California and her love affairs can bind the viewers to this extent that a show becomes the example of success. This is a real wonder. I am glad that it will continue to run on screen and is not going to say goodbye in the near future.

The buzz about Weeds is that Nancy will now meet another hot man and he will become her love interest. Now I can’t say exactly whether Nancy will be more interested in him or he will be more interested in him. But anyways, at last there will be another love affair and I hope this time she gets her perfect match and doesn’t get her heart broken or causes heart break to anybody else.

The new entrant in her life is Demian Bichir. He is well known actor. He’ll be meeting Nancy when she appeals to him after Guillermo cheats her out of her cut from the operation in Monday’s episode. This guy seems to have a rocking personality. As per buddy TV reports he is charming but dangerous, a strong politician and a devil instead of a stereotype.

I am so impressed by this description that I am curious now for that particular episode. Let’s see how he gets Nancy what shape their affair takes on the show. I am looking for more entertainment factor in this affair. So get ready to watch and don’t miss this episode.

I saw ‘ Weeds‘ today on the top ten nomination list for Emmy, prepared by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. It’s in the best comedy series category. Well ‘Weeds’ is a dark comedy and its competitors are much superior than it so to be very honest, I don’t expect that it can win the best comedy series award, though it got a few Emmys for its cast and direction. But yes as it has started again from June so I do expect that it can make it in next year. This new season is wonderful.

We were gossiping about Weeds yesterday in my college and there I heard somebody saying that Romany Malco, Conrad of the weeds, is coming on youTube now. In fact I had been thinking about him where he was and what he was doing? Will he come back to TV or not? It doesn’t seem likely.

I liked his chemistry with Nancy on the show. Now I’ve heard that he is developing a series called Tijuana Jackson and will release one episode weekly on the youtube. I’ll wait for that coz if he is doing this character then it must be very funny.

Anyways coming back to Weeds, let’s see, how does the season four continue? There are many new faces and many old ones are gone and I hope this would ring something good for the show. Anyways, all the best to the show for Emmy.

‘Weeds’ is back with its fourth new season. The show has premiered recently and set the record as the most watched premier with. 1.3 million Viewers. I am happy that I and my gang are not the only addicts of the show. The Hollywood reports say that previous record was held by ‘Dexter’ show with 1 million viewers for the second season premier. Reports also say that the rating of the show has gone up steadily in the last four years. Now everybody loves the comedy. Drama about the marijuana-dealing mom from the suburbs appears to have become a gateway drug itself.

Anyways, the fourth season is on with its blend of dark humor and social commentary, following Nancy as she trades her community in Agrestic for beach town just miles away from Mexico. The focus shifts from bourgeois hypocrisy to larger social issues such as immigration, free trade and the larger effects of drug trafficking.

Apart from this get ready to see the toe- breaking performance of Mary Louis Parker. No risk to your toes though, this is about the video footage of shooting of the show where the 43 year old actress got her toe broken while shooting for a bed scene.

I really can’t understand how it happened; I mean in hot scenes, actors are more conscious. May be this is because the actress is 43 year old, hey I am just kidding. So stay tuned for this most awaited episode of the Weeds. Believe me it’s a sin to miss it.
