Weeds, a golden globe winning comedy drama revolves around a widowed mom Nancy Botwin. After her husband’s death and economic set back, she adopts a new profession.

Nancy Botwin resorts to selling marijuana to support her family in the fictional suburb of Agrestic, California. It seems that every one know what she is selling including a city council man. Weeds explore the dirty secrets behind the beautiful closed doors of this rich community. Series follows Nancy’s fortunes when her husband dies of a heart attack. She becomes the head of the family. Financial crisis looms large over the family and there’s no other way to earn money. She then turns to Conrad Shepard and his family to sell cannabis using a fake bakery to move the goods. Her new means of income are of the kind she can’t share with anyone so she tries to hide it from her distrustful PTA members and from her neighbors.

 

 

She can’t share it with her children, Shane and his brother Silas, who’re also in a shock following the death of their dad.
